House

Presentation

Our family farm is in the little village of Chigny les roses (1er Cru), crossed by the champagne tourist route which links Reims to Epernay cities.

We grow our vines on different soils (the Montagne de Reims, the Marne valley and Epernay south hillside), giving us a high potential to our production. We know well and play with the blend of these three traditional Champagne grape varieties to make our different cuvées.

Rich of a savoir-faire and traditions we are able to have a wide variety and offering open and full taste wines.

Fructus tearrae, vinum fructus animae…

History

Chigny les roses is a largely winegrowing village in the Marne on the hillside of the Montagne de Reims. In 1790, the Crus from Chigny les roses were classified as « Première Qualité » over the centuries until now this classification was confirmed and Chigny les roses is nowadays classified as Premier Cru that made it an important place in Champagne sector.

The house were founded by Paul Lassalle and his wife Hélène Hanin in 1950, whom became the owner of her father’s wineyards, Robert Hanin.

A savoir-faire which have been passed down for 3 generations, through their children Jean-Pol, Christian and Philippe who have made this inheritance lasting until now for their sons and nephew Vincent and Franck.

Attentive to your own tasting pleasure, PLH creates its wines traditionally with various and qualitative terroir.
